what does it mean when u have a pimple under your lip  and it makes your lip swell?

It might be a cold sore, caused by the herpes simplex virus type one infection.  Please seem private message for more information.  Another possibility is if you have a clogged pore below that has swollen into a pimple (closed commodone).  You can try hot soaks with a washcloth to the pimple to try to bring down the swelling.

That sounds like a cold sore, a herpes sore.  Get some Abreva and don't kiss ANYONE at all until it is gone. Definitely don't have oral sex. It could transfer to anyone you touch with it and if you think it's sore on your lip, imagine having it on your genitals.  

Wash your hands before and after applying ointment to it so you don't transfer it to another part of your body or someone else inadvertently. It's very contagious, so treat it as such.

In the future, when you feeling tingling in your lip, assume you are getting one and take all necessary measures not to spread it to another person. Herpes is very contagious and if you're not aware of what you're doing you can give it to someone like someone gave it to you.

If you're not sure, go get tested. A simple blood test will tell whether or not you have it. People say it's just the herpes simplex virus, but it's still just as contagious as genital herpes and transfers the same.

It means you have a pimple under your lip and it made it swell. If ya cant pop it, your bodies natural process will take care of it.  I dont really think it means much. Unless your lip is enormous, then it may be a cyst not a pimple.
