My wife who is 33 yrs had her gallbladder removed about a month ago. During the operation the doctors noticed that the gallbladder started to imbedd itself into the liver and left same slightly swollen. Now recently she is experiencing blood in her urine. I need to know the severity of her condition and what does she to do to get the bleeding to stop

Hi there
So did she have a laparoscopic cholecystectomy done thru a couple small incisions or an open cholecystectomy (laparotomy) one big incision. I wonder if something was nicked in there while she was having her surgery causing some blood. Hematuria (blood in urine) isn't considered normal.  If it were me I would call the surgeon and let him know and see if he might know why this is happening. If he can't help I would contact a urologist. I hope that they can help you find answers. Best wishes
