Is this an option in case surgery screws up?

Mental health issues have delayed my ocular cataract surgery until very late, and my left eye is already blind. Given that experience I'm concerned about a potential screwup with the lens that would make things even worse for me. Since health care has generally only caused me new health problems, would assisted suicide be an option instead of a second eye surgery making things even worse yet? I'm not sure if my mental health history would make assisted suicide off-limits. Thanks for all responses.
