Please Help me!!!

At 18 weeks pregnant my maternal fetal medicine doctor told me he  was pretty positive I was having a girl!!! And At 22 weeks he confirmed it.....Well now at 28 weeks he says the clitoris looks slightly enlarged and isnt too confident saying boy/girl!!!! But also told me to not return my pink stuff....SO WTH???

They said nothing was wrong just that her legs were closed and they werent sure if it was enlarged or just swollen I mean At 22 weeks wouldnt you have been able to determine by than especially when her legs were wide open both times except this one?

It can be extremely distressing when something unexpected comes up during the pregnancy.  You did not mention in your message whether not your MFM discussed any other ultrasound findings or any concerns based on the slightly enlarged clitoris.

Ultrasound is not perfect at picking up gender, and if there is a suspicion of an enlarged clitoris, this should be followed by ultrasound as there are a few case reports of enlarged clitoris on ultrasound being associated with problems of the urogenital tract.   I wish you all of the best with your pregnancy.
