There are four major blood types: AB, A (which can be either AO or AA), B (which can be either BB or BO) and O (which is always OO).

If two people are both AO, that can result in an OO child (25% chance with each pregnancy).

The Rh factor is inherited separately and a person is either ++ (positive), + - (positive) or - - (negative).

If two people are both  + - (positive), that can result in an - - (negative) child (25% chance with each pregnancy).

Hope this information helps!
