what causes three children to have brainstem cysts

i am trying to understand a few things about my missing gene in chromoxone 5 has effected my children and how it relates to chronic lucimea blood disorder, the question i still renender to be unknown by doctors is how they developed brain stem cycts that interfers with the memory and the function of the brain, i mean when you have children arent the doctors suppose to informed you how genetic this is after having your first set of twins where one became a blue baby syndrome and one became a black baby syndrome that died after birth with a brainstem cysts how related is this to me having purple baby syndrome where i had a brain stem cysts where i have a shunt in my brain stem to keep the fluid flowing properly.
