balanced translocation

dear genetic community,
i wanna ask about kind the genetic disorders in maxillofacial or dental region,which is have linked with balanced translocation...what kind of thats?and how the treatmen?

Hi. I dont know alot but maybe this can help you. I dont know which chromosomes in a balanced translocation would affect the dental region. I do know that those areas are ofter affected in many people with trisomies (3 copies of the chromosome). Treatment is based on the specific condition, treat the condition not the cause. Trisomies, translocation and such themselves cant be fixed, or treated. I hope this helps some.
