Does paternal DNA imunity pass to Mother during pregnancy

Does paternal DNA imunity pass to Mother during pregnancy

My wife has suffered with sever IBS reaction to Dairy, Egg and pork for many years.  She is now 11 weeks pregnant with our child.  I have never suffered with the reactions my wife has to these food groups.  Will my wife be able to eat these foods now without having the sever IBS reaction, due to the presence of the baby and mix of our DNA?

Hi,
How is your wife?  IBS symptoms in pregnancy  is very difficult to predict.  Some women find that being pregnant has eliminated the symptoms of IBS, while others unfortunately find them being worse.  The mixing of your DNA during pregnancy may not help also in the management of IBS.  To improve her symptoms of IBS,  have her drink plenty of fluids; eat more high-fibre foods; avoid alcohol, fatty foods and caffeine; and identify and avoid  the triggers that could make her IBS worse. Take care and best regards.
