Is ECZEMA sexually transmitted?

Is ECZEMA sexually transmitted?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 4 years and were slated to marry within the next couple of years. recently he broke up with me as he has been diagnosed with a bad case of eczema which runs in his family. chances of psoriasis have not been ruled out. his great grand-dad, an aunt, and an uncle had these symptoms. we are in great mental trauma as a doctor has advised him against starting a family.
can this be passed on to your partner? how risky is it, even if condoms are used? what are the chances of having a healthy kid?

No. I have had this since I was a baby.  It's worse in the winter because of the dryness.  For some reason the heat makes it go away in summer.  I only have on my hands..mostly the right.
This is genetics.  This will NOT effect having children at all.  This is treated by a dermotoligist (Skin Dr)

Thank you for your prompt response. The case seems to be a little different for my boyfriend.. His is not a dry eczema, and has covered his entire back it seems. And he's taking the doctor's advice of not starting a family very seriously.
I am optimistic yet. Hope he sails along with me on this..

Question?  Are you saying he does not want to start a family because of Ecezema?
