Love life of fragile X girls

by tumtara, Oct 26, 2009 02:15PM
I have come across two girls which I suspect to be carriers of fragile X. One had speech cluttering with clear pronounciation and other had exam-anxiety/general anxiety along with some learning disabilities. I would rate their intelligence in the range of 110-120.

Both the girls were very sweet. They were very emotional and love (true love with deep connection and committment) mattered to them more than other girls. They seemed to believe in telepathy and intuition. Their emotional intelligence seemed to be higher than highly educated girls.

Is it possible that fragile-X carrier girls have similar needs and aspirations in love? Are they generally more loveable and committed in relationship? Has anyone done studies on such aspects?
