genetic-linked unexplained seizures

Hello,
I have a question regarding recurrent bouts of seizures for which I have been hospitalized repeatedly without diagnosis.  I learned shortly thereafter my biological father had similar bouts of seizures without explanation.  We also share similar other ailments including bipolar disorder and extreme lack of appetite.  He passed away at 39, and I have no other explanation from my doctors other than "coincidence".  I am also vitamin b12 deficient, anemic, pre-diabetic, and have had recurrent bouts of internal bleeding.  My doctors cannot tie all the symptoms together.  Do you know of any genetic disease which could possibly explain this?
Thank you

It sounds like you are going through a lot. We recommend that you meet with a medical geneticist, who can perform a physical exam, review your medical history as well as your family history. We wish you the best.

A medical geneticist in your area can be found by going to the American College of Medical Genetics website.
