pregnut with herpes

my daughter is pf and concived when she had a herpes out break she is 12 weeks pg. what is the chances of a birth defect

To my knowledge none.  It's my understanding that if she has an outbreak while giving birth, that it can cause problems, but I think they now can even take care of this, so that the baby isn't affected.
