Beautiful poem ...(suzi wipes away the tears).....thank you.
That was beautiful, thanks for sharing. How are you doing,we haven't talked in awhile? Hope you had a nice christmas.LOL,Jen
I would like to share this poem with you all also.I came across the framed picture in Christian Bookstore. I was dragging through and read and my spirits lifted. Know Christmas Day has passed, but the season is still with us. Hope it helps just one.
Merry Christmas From Heaven
I still hear the songs
I still see the lights
I still feel your love
on cold winterynights
I still share your hopes
and all of your cares
I'll even remind you
to please say your prayers
I just want to tell you
you still make me proud
You still stand head and shoulderd
above all the crowd
Keep trying each moment
to stay in his grace
I came here before you
to help set your place
You don't have to be
perfect all of the time
He forgives you the slip
If you continue to climb
To my family and friends
please be thankful today
I'm still close beside you
In a new special way
I love you all dearly
now don't shed a tear
Cause I'm spending my
Christmas with Jesus this year

HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE WITH THEIR LOSS. MADLYN
"All Is Well
Death is nothing at all,
I have only slipped into the next room
I am I and you are you
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.
Call me by my old familiar name,
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used
Put no difference in your tone,
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household world that it always was,
Let it be spoken without effect, without the trace of shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It it the same as it ever was, there is unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near,
Just around the corner.
All is Well."
That is so beautiful. It is has only been about 5 1/2 months since I lost my 7 wk old son Cooper, but I truly feel like he is continuing to bless me each and everyday. Thank you for sharing this and thank you for Keeping Their Lights Burning Bright!!!

Though the voice is silent......
.........the spirit echoes still..................
That is beautiful and so very true....thanks for sharing.
May the God of Love and Mercy,
Care for our loved one that is gone,
And bless with consolation,
those left to carry on.
The happy hours we once enjoyed,
How sweet their memory still,
But death has left a vacant place,
This world can never fill.
How dearly we loved you,
And prayed you might live,
But Jesus just beckoned,
And we hade to give.
God gave us strength to bear it,
And courage to fight the blow,
What it has meant to lose you,
God alone will ever know.

That was the poem that was in my mom's card at her service.Later, when I was going through her stuff,I found that poem, she knew it.I felt thats what she would say. In Time of loss
Lonely is the home without you,
Life to us is not the same;
All the world would be like heaven,
If we could have you back again.
A light is from our household gone,
A voice we loved is still,
A place is vacant in our home,
That never can be filled.
Thank you...I really enjoyed reading the poem. It was hopeful at a time, where I don't have the heart or desire to celebrate the holiday. Maybe next year. Judy
