ash of my lovely Baby Aidan

ash of my lovely Baby Aidan

So I did the nice funeral for my still birth baby Aidan at 21week... now I've the ash with me... is it OK to place it at the altar table in my house so that we can get close all the time or should I place him elsewhere like temple or church .. I not ready to pour his ash along any lake or sea or anything like that...what you all say??? Kindly sincere advised welcome.. thanks in advance...

I think you should do whatever you want to at this point or nothing at all.  You will know when you are ready.  There is no time limit.  I wish you the best.  So sorry for your loss.

I agree. Do not force yourself to do something that will make your pain even worse. If keeping it is what will give a small shimmer of comfort during this hard time, then do so. When you are ready, then you will know what step to take. I am so sorry for you loss dear. Please take care.

I can understand the pain you are in, I lost several babies to miscarriages. I felt so lonely and empty. It's one of the most painfull things a person can go through. I loss my Husband of 34yrs. I got a lot of critizism because I didn't have a "formal" funeral for him, but he and I had discussed our wishes and it wasn't what he wanted. I had him cremated and the ashes put in a beautiful urn that reminded me of his earliest memories with his grandfather. I put it in the foyer so when you enter my home he is the first thing I see. When I die my girls have instructions to have me cremated and then our ashes will be spead together over the gulf coast. I said way too much just trying to say that I think you should do what you want, but when I come in and see Nickies ashes I feel closer to him. And not quite so alone.
