what to expect.

My father has been drinking for about 30 years now, every day. He goes to the doctor regularly and takes cholesterol medicine as well as bloodpressure meds. His abdomen is swollen as well as his legs and face and feet. He has a yellowish tint to his eyes, and forgets things very easily. he still eats well. Apparently his doctor doesnt know about his drinking, and he also chokes when he is trying to drink. just trying to figure out how close he is to death? as terrible as it sounds.
