11 year old daughter extended cycle

My 11 year old daughter started her cycle when she was 10. Now
She is 11 and has been bleeding since Dec. 16. It is now Jan.
Jan. 31. I know the first couple of years can be irregular but I'm getting
concerned? Should I be?

I would suggest calling either your doctor or your daughter's pediatrician about the bleeding. If she continues to have prolonged menses, she should be tested for blood clotting disorders such as vonWillebrand's disease which is quite common.
Often oral contraceptives are used to regulate the cycles in the early years, and can save a lot of anguish for youngsters.
