Bump On Cervix

Bump On Cervix

In June 2009 i had my last sexual encounter with a boyfriend i found out was cheating. September 2009 i had blood and urine tests to rule out stds, everything was clean. December 2009 I had my nearly pap test where a chlamydia and gonnorhea (Gonorrhea) test was taken as well, Everything came back saying i was fine. For some reason my doctor in December told me to do monthly exams on myself just feel my cervix for abnormalities, so in march i did this. I felt a bump a bit smaller than a pea on my cervix at the bottom of the os. Freaking out i went to the doctors who did a physical exam without a pap, she looked at my cervix and felt around said she didnt feel anything abnormal and my cervix looked healthy. I had really bad cramps in the middle of April so i ended up going to the hospital, they did a physical on me when i mentioned the bump and that doctor too said he seen and felt nothing abnormal, he said there was a little rough spot on my cervix but thats normal. Noone will do another pap test until my one year mark so i have to wait till December 2010. This bump has not changed in size, it is not sore, i dont have abnormal bleeding. The bump IS about the size of a pea or smaller it feels like, its very hard, doesnt feel like its growing off the skin but rather under the skin. I can feel like a perfect round circle like a tiny ball. It hasn't got any bigger that i can tell.
People find it so unbelievable that i can feel my cervix but i swear to you i can feel it! its all perfectly smooth than the opening i feel than at the bottom of it a smooth rounded ball that i can feel but no doctors can see or feel. I have never had HPV or warts but im really scared this is a wart on my cervix but doctors look at me like im crazy. Why do i have this bump that i can feel that pretty much feels like a pimple on my cervix and no doctors can see or feel :( its frustrating.
Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hi!
The first thing I would tell you, is that there is no need to do self-cervical exams.  I would tell you if possible to stop obsessing about it!
I suspect that you may have a Nabothian cyst.  These are very common, usually small and non-tender.  They are plugged mucous glands.  They are so common, that many doctors would not comment about them.
Usually they go away on their own, or just sit quietly.  They don' t need any special attention.

Hope this helps!
