Can I get pregnant?

I stopped breastfeeding 3 months ago.  I still have not had a period.  I have done the Answer 20 day ovulation testing to detect and LH surge and all results were negative.  I have also taken pregnancy tests just to be sure and they were negative also.  Do I need to seek medical help?  Can I be ovulating with no period or LH surge detected?

Hello,

It sounds like you are not ovulating and thus cannot become pregnant.  That said, you don't know when your ovulation will return so you are still at risk of becoming pregnant.  Talk to your ob/gyn about your contraceptive options.

Best regards,
