Conceiving post Bone TB

Conceiving post Bone TB

Hi
I am a 31year old married female, normal weight. I was diagnosed with Bone TB last year and successfully completed a 12 month medication cycle in February 2011 and am completely cured of the disease now. Please let me know if there any time period that I should wait before deciding to conceive, considering any sideeffects of the medicines.

Hi!
If you are disease free and have finished all of your medications there should be no contraindications to pregnancy at this point.  If you are having difficulty conceiving, you should have a low threshhold to have an hsg (hystersalpingogram -- dye study of your tubes).  TB can cause tubal damage.

Good luck!
