Concerned about questions asked during ultrasound

Hello. I'm a 34 year old woman with no kids and one sex partner. Became sexually active 4 years ago. Yesterday I had a pelvic and vaginal ultrasound because I've been having pelvic pain. Had a pap the day before yesterday and the gyn said she didn't feel anything, but ordered an ultrasound. While doing the external ultrasound,  the tech asked me if I'd been having spotting or abnormal periods(I haven't been). Does this mean she saw something? She of course had a poker face on, and told me she couldn't divulge any info when I asked if she saw something. I'm kind of freaking out. Would she have asked about spotting and abnormal periods if she just saw a cyst? I wasn't aware they caused spotting...? What could she have seen that would make her ask those questions? Are they standard questions? I should get the results in a few days, but any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi!
First of all, it is true that the techs are not allowed to interpret the ultrasound results for medico-legal reasons.  This is a TOTAL GUESS, but I wonder if she noticed that the lining of your uterus was a bit thick.  This could simply be caused by having the ultrasound right before your period is due.  There are lots of other guesses that I could make, but really, the best bet is to wait for results.
Good luck!
