Desperate for answers & discouraged to get pregnant

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for over 1 year. Last year we actually did but I had an early miscarriage (5weeks or so). I went to an Endocrinologist to make sure there was nothing of concern and everything came back normal. I had 2 other miscarriages (3 total) but those were too early  (2-3 wks) to confirm by the Dr. I had an HSG and the only comment I got from the Dr was that my uterus is unusually small but I was not given any indication that I should be concerned. On my last visit to the Dr she seemed frustrated by me/situation and prescribed estrogen and progesterone but I didn’t take them because I did not feel comfortable with the idea of taking meds without a true diagnosis. Through all of this my period jumped off schedule but now is back to a 30 day cycle. We've tried again this month during ovulation and I'm noticing the same pregnancy symptoms very early on, then cramping for a few days then nothing.
I am not sure if my next step is heading to an OBGYN or back to an Endocrinologist or GIVE UP?!!

Hi!
You need to see a REPRODUCTIVE endocrinologist, if you haven't.  I'm not sure why you would have been give estrogen and progesterone either!
Has your husband had a semen analysis?  I would definitely have that done.  If there is absolutely nothing detectable on the laboratory data, then often the next step is
Clomid (or Femara) and IUI.  The per cycle pregnancy rates with medication and IUI are significantly higher than without.
You may ultimately end up with IVF.  One thing I do know is, that you don't want to waste any time with unenthusiastic doctors because your biological clock is not going to wait for you!
Good luck!

Thanks for your insight.
The Dr we went to was a Reproductive endo and according to her the Labs were normal, hence our hesitation with hearing the outcome.
I will start to look for another doctor asap and hope the path leads us to a positive ending rather than the discouragement we have had.
Sorry to sound so mushy but it's all been hard to absorb.

Many thanks again.
