Female Reproduction

I've missed my period every month since April of this year and i was wondering, could i still produce eggs? Also, back in early July i was spotting but it was two red drops the size of pencil dots. could that be a period or could it be an implantation of an egg

Hi!
If you are not having periods, it means that you are not ovulating.  There could be many reasons why; the most common is probably PCOS or polycystic ovary syndrome.
That is basically a catch-all term for  hormone imbalance.  If you were my patient, I would run some basic hormone studies including a thyroid test (TSH), prolactin level, and FSH level (menopause test). Oh, and a pregnancy test too--I ALWAYS do a pregnancy test!
I would then ask you what you goal is--are you trying to get pregnant?  If so, you need some medication to help you ovulate.  If not, you could take oral contraceptives or cyclic progesterone to induce periods. It is not healthy to go more than three months in a row without periods, because the lining of the uterus can build up too much.  If this goes on for many years, it can eventually lead to cancer.
You should probably get in to see your friendly gynecologist and get a thorough check-up!
Good luck!
