HPV, Ovarian Cysts, & PMS

For the past year, I often experience PMS twice per month. Each cycle usually lasts anywhere from 3 days (light spotting) to 10+ days (heavy flow). I often experience both types of cycles during a one month time frame. I am 35 years old with HPV and ovarian cysts. Why does this occur? Should I be worried about my fertility &/or pre-menopause at this age?

Hi!
If you were my  patient, I would probably start by trying to sort out what is going on with your periods.  A normal period should not exceed 7 days,
I would do some basic hormone tests such as TSH, FSH, prolactin and progesterone to help determine why your periods are lasting so long.  Also, these tests would help to determine your fertility/perimenopausal status.
Good luck!
