I'm 20 years old and growing us i never thought to, well you no, check to make sure my cliteris was there before. and finally my husband had to say something. he said he has always thought I just don't have one. It's all smooth were my cliteris should be. It's just my ureathra than vagina that's it. I always wanted to know why i never felt stimulation or anything good at all there during intercourse or foreplay before like I should have, but i always blamed it on my past partners. I need some educated advice. Am I just connecting to things that aren't related??? or can you really be born with out a cliteris and not ever know tell your 20??? And if i really am right is it common??? Or am I a freak???
HI! If you were my patient, I would ask you to come in and let me examine you. You almost certainly DO have a clitoris, or other anatomy would be affected. Your doctor can use a mirror to point out the parts of your anatomy. You can also go on line and look at what normal female anatomy looks like and compare it to your own. Women who have undergone female circumcision sometimes lack a clitoris, but you would be very aware of it if you have had this procedure done. Go get a check up and ask you doctor to point out your parts! No reason for embarrassment! Ask your husband to come too so he knows what to do to improve your sex life! Good luck! Dr B
