In grown labia hairs

In grown labia hairs

I noticed a small lump around August of 2010.  It has not gotten any larger or smaller (about the size of a pea).  I finally tried to squeeze it really hard (in January), it got sore and i left it alone for a few days.  then I squeezed it again and I got a thick ivory colored discharge to come out and noticed several (about 6) small blond curled soft hairs wanting to come out.  i gently pulled and noticed about 12 total came out. My pubic hair is very coarse and black. So i thought it unusual for these to be blond and very soft??? So anyway, now the lump is open, sore and very red.  i clean it everyday and put antibiotic ointment on it afterward.  just wondering why so many hairs and if there might be more in there yet?  i have no medical insurance right now, so i cannot go see the Dr. for now.

Hi!
Your story is a bit unusual!  It almost sounds like you may have a little hamartoma, and if so, it may need to be excised.  In general, if a lesion hasn't gone away within a week, OR if it shows any evidence of infection (redness, swelling, tenderness) it should be checked first and paid for later. Most doctors will be willing to set up some sort of payment plan.
Good luck!
