Is pregnancy visible in 5.2 weeks

Hi friends,

I have 31 days cycle , i am on fertility treatment and had medicines : metamorfin and is on progestrone supplements.my egg ruptured on 14th day of my cycle(i am on follicular studies) if calculated by 28 days i am 5.2 weeks along with my pregnancy . yESTERDAY DOCTOR HAD SCHEDULED ME FOR A ULTRA SOUND BUT HE COULDN'T SEE ANYTHING NOT EVEN GESTATION SAC THE ONLY THING HE COULD SEE IS THICKENED ENDOM LINING . HE HAS SUSPECTED ECTOPIC PREGNANCY AND ASK ME TO DO A SONOGRAPH AGAIN AFTER A WEEK. FRIEND PLS HELP IS IT TOO EARLY FOR A SAONOGRAPHY

Often there is a gestational sac visible at 5 weeks, but this depends upon the type of ultrasound technology used and the skill of the sonographer.  If you were my patient, I would also be following quantitative beta hcg levels to see if they are doubling, and a progesterone level to see if the pregnancy is viable (should be at least 10, over 15 is great).  A repeat ultrasound in a week should definitely show something!
