Itching and soreness?

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place, aha.
I went on holiday on 23rd June and returned on the 30th June. During this holiday I had been in the sea and swimming in indoor and outdoor pools. I also had sexual intercourse on the 24th/25th with contraception, but I have no idea about the other person's past sex life. Later on the 25th my menstruation started. It finished around on the 29th and since returning from my holiday I have had itchiness with my labias which has resulted in soreness.  It is greatly affecting my comfort levels and is also causing me to worry greatly. Should I visit my GP or are there treatments I can start to resolve this issue?

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would want to see you for testing.  There is a possiblity that the problem is a simple yeast infection, but I would be concerned about STDs given the rest of the history.  I am NOT a fan of the vaginal yeast preparations as they potentially can cause dermatitis that is bad as the original infection.  Oral diflucan does work really well.

Hi, im having the same problem with her but I didnt have sex for a year already. What might have caused this problem? My vagina oute lip is really itchy I tried to put some ice ang wash it with cetaphil soap but sometimes I scratched it accidentally when im asleep thats why it got swollen a little bit. But still itchy. Any ointment or medication can.you recommend please. Tnx
