I'm not sure which birth control pill you are taking, but I assume it is Loestrin 24 Fe from your title.   Yes, it is a little unusual that you started bleeding so early on after starting your birth control pills and that you have been bleeding for so long.  It may be related to the fact that you haven't had a period for 2.5 years.  Your uterine lining has been building up for 2.5 years.  Remember normally, your uterine lining is shed every month. But you have not had a period for 2.5 years and instead it have been building up.  Now it is allowed to slough off and there may been a large amount of uterine lining that is sloughing off.

I would suggest that you go see your gynecologist soon.  I am a little concerned that you have been bleeding for 2weeks now and that you are having other symtptoms.  These symptoms may go away after some time, but I would go see your doctor to get checked out.  Perhaps you need to be switched to other birth control pill.
