Menstrual cycle

I had my baby 3 months ago. I breastfed for 1 month. I have yet to start my period. I usually get cramps in the morning, but nothing happens. Should I be worried? When will it start?

Sometimes there is a delay in menses.  But you must also make sure you are not pregnant again.  Follow up with your ob/gyn to make sure all is well.

I don't think you should be alarmed....I breast fed & my perid took almost 5 months to come back, I too was worried, my gyn told me it was normal & everyone is different.

This is my 7th son. My period has always come back soon after. This is unusual for me. Maybe it's because I'm 38. I'm not sure. I asked my dr. and was told not to worry at this time. I just hope it's not something bad happening. Thanx for your comments.

I breastfeed, my daughter is 5 months and I havent had a period yet either.  I am concerned. I am afraid have another baby, my uterus turned inside out after giving birth.  It was the most painful experience of my life.
