Menstrual

My period stays on longer than usual! It goes off then comes back on the same day as if it's just starting ! What can I do, and I think it's cause my tubes are tied!

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would advise you that if this is consistently happening, you might want to see your doctor for a short (3 months or so) course of hormone therapy to regulate your cycle.  Often I will use oral contraceptive pills to regulate someone's cycle even though she has had her tubes tied. Progesterone might be another option.  Depending upon your age, and history, your doctor might want to check an ultrasound too.
Good luck!
