Need to know what this means??

Had a positive pregnancy test and went to the ER about 2 weeks later to be told after several hours of cramping and bleeding that i was not pregnant and showed no signs of being pregnant in my blood results, well i have never had a false positive preg.test and 8 living children and was told to follow up with an Ob Gyn(which i do not have, but now just contacted one since yesterday, finally got to see the ultrasound report but do not understand it and am concerned at this point went to a Ob gyn yesterday and he said when i got in back that he only see's people that are pregnant with the insurance that i have but decided to at least do a pap test, well got ready and waited for him to come back and the nurse came back in and said they got the ultrasound report over and he could not do the pap test because of not having a Michigan drivers License which is a bunch of crock because i have been seeing my family doc with it for a long time well anyways here is there findings and Impression:
Findings:An ultrasound of the pelvis was performed transabdominally and transvaginally. The Uterus measures 7.3x5.4x4.4 cm.The uterine echotexture is homogeous without evidence of abnormal mass. There appears to be a minimal amount of fluid within the endometrial canal. The endometrium measures 1.9x1.8x1.8 cm. There is positive flow to the ovaries bilaterally.Multiple echogenic foci are seen within the endometrium, the largest measuring 0.28x0.26x0.17cm A small amount of free fluid is in the pelvis.
Impression:
1.Echogenic foci within the endometrium as well as a small amount of fluid within the endometrial. These foci may represent microcalcifications which are mostly associated with benign conditions clinically indicated.
2.Small amount of free fluid within the pelvis

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
It sounds to me as though you might have what we call a missed abortion.  That is the medical term for a miscarriage that isn't complete.  In other words, the pregnancy stops developing but the tissue is never expelled.  If you were my patient, I would suggest an endometrial biopsy. This is an office procedure which is relatively quick to do, and not terribly painful.  It would allow us to find out what the tissue is that they are mentioning on the ultrasound. "echogenic foci in the endometrium"--that basically means sludge within the uterus.  Everyone has free fluid in the pelvis, so that is nothing to worry about.
It sounds to me as though your pregnancy test must have been negative in the ER, so I am not too concerned about a tubal pregnancy.
I think that the biopsy is what you need, because it would clean the uterus as well, so that the bleeding  would stop too.
Hope this is helpful!
