Ovaries

I have pains on both of my sides at come from within.  I first thought it was from constapation but I have solved that. Can that pain come from my ovaries?  They left those in when I had surgery.  The doctor doesn't see to know what to do for the pain.  Pain killers don't even affect the pain.  Thank you

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would tell you that I doubt your pain is coming from your ovaries.
I would want to do an ultrasound to check that they are normal, of course. Unless the ultrasound showed some sort of problem, I would have to say that the pain is probably coming from elsewhere.  I don't know your history, but I would still wonder about Irritable Bowel Syndrome, possibly caused by or contributed to by scar tissue (adhesions).
I would also warn you that narcotic pain relievers are likely to make it WORSE rather than better!
You may want to "google" Irritable Bowel Syndrome and see if it fits.
Good luck!
