Pain & brown blood

My mother had a hysterectomy 35 years ago (uterus & ovaries).  She is finding brown discharge/blood on her panties.  Also has some burning pain in her lower abdomen.  Any need to be concerned???

Yes, I would be concerned about those symptoms if your mother was my patient.  I would want to see her in the office for a complete evaluation. The blood could be coming from any of three places, bladder, vagina or bowel. Bleeding from any of these is NOT normal.
If you are not sure where to start, your mom's general doctor  or gynecologist would be a good place!
