Pain in Abdomen

Pain in Abdomen

Wife aged 31 had two C sections one in 1997 and other in 2001. She is B
Negative I am B +ve we had given her the anti D injection after the first
C section. The second child a boy is not a normal child a special child,
it seems he had an infection of CMV virus during preganacy (pregnancy) stage. We did
not do any Chromosomal analysis during preganancy hence not identified the
problem.

For the past 3 years whenever we have relationships after the 3rd day she
gets severe pain in the abdomen area and gets fever. We did check up with
lot of doctors they are not able to diagnoise the real problem.
Recently she had high fever and the doctor who did the internal
examination said there are some pus formation and blood stains are there
and asked us to go for Scanning.
The scan report has the following:
1.Umbilical hernia - Which we identified in 2004 itself did not go for
surgery due to the health condition of the second child.
2.Hypoechoic nodule in the suprapubic region - ? Granuloma?( this is the
way it is put in the report) - 1.7X 1.2 Cms is seen
3. Endometerial polyp 1.5X 1.3 Cms

The general physician suggested to go for Endoscopy of polyp but the
Gynacologist felt that by doing that the fever or pain will not reduce as
it is not the generator of fever or pain. She is suspecting it may be a
Scar Endometiorisis. She has fever and severe pain. Doctor suggested C125
blood examination and the levels were 5.2 which is normal.

Doctor had given her Meparate tablet for 10 days 2 times a day. For the
past 6 days she is taking it the pain is reduced a bit but she is feeling
the fever on occassions. Doctor suggested to meet the surgeon when the
pain persists. Now she is taking tablets we do not know when she stops
what will happen? She has normal periods and no issues on that.

Need to know what is her problem and how it can be rectified. If needed i
can forward the scan report and other reports. Thanks in advance.

Hello,

It's not clear to me what exactly is going on with your wife, but a second opinion from another gynecologist is a good idea.  This forum is not meant to function as a second opinion.

Your wife should be seen, examined, and have her history reviewed in the office by another physician.

Best regards,

Dr. Downing

She has abdomen pain, in the latest check up the doctors are identifying it as a Scar Endometiorisis but they are not confirming. She has pain and fever and we had conducted all thte tests.
