Should I be concerned?

I have been having a brownish pinkish discharge since I had my period on August 5th. It has not stopped, actually is getting worse. Should I be concerned?

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would recommend a pregnancy test.  If that was negative, I would suggest a complete exam and pap smear (if indicated).  We would then assess why it is that you might be having this type of bleeding and go from there--maybe some hormone testing or an ultrasound.  Also there are medications that can help stop the bleeding.  I would definitely suggest contacting your obgyn provider!
Good luck!
