Solved or not solved

My concerns have already been answered but for some reason I can't help but think its something more so I wanted yet another opinion of the situation. Back in april 2010 I started having severe vaginal itching, with a red spot just outside my vaginal opening and burning with urination. It started happening when I started taking birth control but was told it wasn't the birth control. I stopped taking it anyway but the problem was still there. I was diagnosed with BV and then a possible yeast infection but none of the medications helped. I have seen numerous Dr's. in the gynecology department and one dermatologist. My main gynecologist I have seen several times and every time she tells me it doesn't look like HPV or Herpes or anything worry some. However, she did do a biopsy. My results came back as dermatitis and nothing viral was detected. She gave me a cream that has been very helpful but I still get random itching (defiantly not as severe) and sometimes it looks as if certain spots of my skin rise but then they go away. It doesn't look like warts or any of that. The other Dr's I have seen also haven't noticed anything worry some. But I am told there's no real way to figure out what is causing my problem because it can be so many different things. My boyfriend has also never had any symptoms of anything from me. It has just been a very difficult thing to have to deal with and I think that it has really affected me mentally. It is helpful to see that there are others out there going through the same thing.

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would suspect that you either had a reaction to some irritant (allergy) OR that you have eczema.  My first question would be whether you have something like this anywhere else on your skin.  Eczema of the vulva is fairly common, and usually treated with topical steroid cream.
Hope this helps!
