Ultrasound results - 3 years of symptoms - uninsured

For nearly 3 yrs I've had the following symptoms & been unable to work or attend school for 2 years: Extreme fatigue & joint/back pain, memory problems(getting worse), shortness of breath, dry eyes, sporadic hair loss, dizziness(one fainting spell over 2 years ago), severe hip/shoulder/neck pain, constant thirst, pain in lower abdomen (usally dull, sometimes sharp), urination frequency & difficulty/pain, constipation, queasiness(becoming more frequent),PVCs, appetite loss/increase, irreg. periods(heavy bleeding &/or clotting), inner thigh pain, stiff/puffy/red hands, insomnia, depression. Last week I was sent for a vaginal US with the following results: Uterus measures-7.6x5.1x6.5cm & heterogeneous with multiple apparent fibroids, Endometrial stripe is 13 mm in thickness, Right ovary measures-4.2x2.4x1.6cm, Left-1.8x2.6x2.1cm, Follicular cysts are demonstrated bilaterally, no free fluid is seen. Impression: 1)FIBROID UTERUS 2)MILD THICKENING AND IRREGULARITY OF THE ENDOMETRIAL STRIPE, WHICH COULD BE RELATED TO PHASE OF MENSTRUAL CYCLE IN THIS YOUNG FEMALE(37 YRS) 3)SEVERAL FOLLICULAR CYSTS THROUGHOUT BOTH OVARIES.  I was told by the nurse to live with it!  I am uninsured, so I am forced to go to the community heath clinic & keep getting pawned off on local hospitals who, in turn, give minimal attention as soon as they hear "no health insurance."  Looking at the above results and factoring in all my other symptoms, what is the best course of action for me?  (Thyroid, lupus, RA have been ruled out)

Thanks Jo A.  It is a comfort to know I'm not being ridiculous in my concern.  I would love to get into a gynecologist today, if I could.  However, I live in a small town and have no health insurance, so none of the gyns will even consider taking me as a patient without a payment up front. I even tried the ER, but all they do is give pain meds & refer me to gyns that won't see me for the reasons I've stated already. I don't qualify for Medicaid or SSI, so what does someone with no ins. do in a situation like this?  Since I haven't been working for the past 2+ years from any combination of symptoms, and all of the misdiagnosis' , my income is zip.  I've had to rely on my family for support & thank God for my mother, who has allowed me to stay with her throughout this ordeal.  How is your recovery going?  I hope you are well or getting there.  I care, too.

the magic number is below 35, so there's a concern right there! Get thee to a gyn/oncologist asap!

I had pain in my abdomen, prooblems with urine, bowels, appitite, not eating because of massive diarhagh, but getting biger & bigger, gas, cramps, fatigue, unable to summon up the energy to do much of anythingsleeping a lot,, felt like dirt. Told after colonoscopy I irritible bowel, most common misdiagnosis, I actually had stage 3 OVARIAN CANCER!!! Discovered months laater when I took myself to ER with a "knowing" that something was very wrong.

Your count is too high, I can't believe that number came back & a NURSE, not a  dr said "live with it", no you" ll die with it, get to an oncologist yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!! You're getting to it early!!!Good luck, let me know I care
