Thanks for the advice! Would consider adoption. Its just tough because I suppose I'll have to have the conversation with my Dr. about the waiting period (at least 2 years to even try) that he has recommended...just worried I may not have that long, but I suppose if I don't, I don't!
Hi!
Some people just don't seem to have good medical "luck".
In my experience, women with a history similar to yours usually do have complicated pregnancies. There is nothing life-threatening in your history however, so if you were my patient, and really wanted another child, I would see you through another pregnancy.
Ovaries are often (usually) behind the uterus. About 40% of women have a retroverted uterus. Most women with endometriosis have a retroverted uterus. I suspect that your uterus was blocking the bladder as it expanded during early pregnancy--I have seen that occassionally. Adenomyosis would certainly not be a surprise given your history, but would not pose any danger to a baby.
If you do want another child, don't wait too long. Have you considered adoption? ;)
Good luck!
Dr B
