Uterine Tissue

History of severe dysplasia, precancerous cells found.  Multiple colposcopies, biopsies, crypo done.  Recently came off pill, would like to have a baby again, last baby born in '99.  (3 sucessful pregnancies, 3 miscarriages)  Recently in the middle of my cycle I have passed tissue.  None bloody, almost light brownish/greenish in color, kahki would best describe it.  The first tissue that passed was very fibrous, the second was very layers looking and much larger than the other.  Has anyone else had this happen to them.  My doc said I could be experiencing a lower hormone level and is going to biopsy the tissue sample I brought to him.  I'm a little nervous.

I've had lots of patients complain of similar symptoms.  I've never yet had a definitive diagnosis of anything.  It seems to happen a lot when someone has been on depo or th pill for a long time and then starts cycling again. Almost like the uterus is cleaning out the cobwebs!  I doubt that there is anything serious going on, but the pathology should give you the answer.  By the way, don't ever get lazy about your pap smears!
