Vaginal Discharge

Ive been having thick white vaginal discharge for almost a year. It does not come out of my underwear but just clings to the walls of my vagina and I can scroop it out. I have been tested negative for all STDs including herpes, and negative for BV (and all other related infections) and yeast. I have had abbraisons appear on the exterior of my vagina and big red spots on my exterior that lasted for a month and then went away. What could this be? It has ruined me life, causing me to be so depressed and feel unwanted. Is it possible to be a type of candidas even though I tested negative for yeast? Or is it possible to be a type of BV for still be tested negative for it? Or is this a hormonal imbalance? I have also taken the morning after pill about 10 times in the past year, so this may be related. Is there something I can take to counteract the effects of the pill? I am seriously losing all hope in life lately, I just want an answer. The gyneocologists I went to have no idea- they tested me for HIV and diabetes- both negative. Is there anything that this could be- any advice- and what type of medications would you recommend? I have also not had any sugar or alcohol and just have fruit, veggies, and fish along with exercising 4 times a week and there is still no change. Please help me, this is ruining my life.

Jaydee, sounds like it could be a bartholins gland cyst. Not sure about cause, but could be a blocked duct from swelling of your vulva. Need to have it looked at. Mean time, an epsom salt sitz bath may help with the inflamation. Good luck, and please make an appointment!

I'm really not sure whats wrong with me.I had sex with my boyfriend last week and the next day my vagina felt sore.I thought maybe from rough intercourse. But turns out I had a lil ball on my left vagina. It didnt hurt that BAD though.Until almost about a week ago. when I went to to use the restroom I started bleeding, like I started my period. I wasnt sure what to think. maybe pregnant or infection? The next day I was fine but when I went to have sex I noticed I was spotting & it hurt to have sex. The next day I went to use the restoom and it hurt to poop because when I would push it would put pressure where I had that lil ball inside my vagina & I would bleed This happened about 3 times. now I have stopped bleeding but ALOT of discharge more than I normally do.but my left lip is swollen and that pain is getting stronger. It hurts to walk, cough, sneeze & when I sit I have tos it slowly.  Any one might know what this is? Thank you

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME! I'm only 12 and i can't pay to write to you! It's Too much money but i really really need your help and i'd appreciate it so so much if you could just write back and help me it's so important.. and I can't tell anyone it's too embarrassing!       I've noticed some blood on my tissue when i go to the toilet for a few months now.. I then realised that down by my vagina lips near my bum I have a cut and lots of little pimples/spots. I stretched the skin to get a better look and I saw that it looked almost like they have white heads. I'm really scared and I've been searching websites to find out what this might be. Everyone talks about sex on there's but I'm only 12, I haven't even started my period yet and I'm really scared but too shy to tell my mum and definitely not my dad!

I need help really badly.. I really want to know what is causing this problem I've been looking everywhere.. Recently for over two months roughly (no exaggeration) I have also been getting stomach aches and headaches after. I went to the doctors about it but he said it was constipation and I needed to eat my fruit and veg and he gave me medicine that made me Poo. Now I go for a poo around three times a day and I'm on it for ages and I don't take the medicine any-more, and towards the end of last year i weighed 9 and a half stone, I didn't look fat.. I wasn't fat but now I weigh 7.12 stones. I've lost so much and I don't even have an appetite much any-more and I can't eat early hours of the morning..

I'm so so scared.. Can someone please please help me! Pleasee I beg!

I'm only 12.. I haven't even started my period yet.

Dear janebrisson421,

Candida can manifest without itching.

You may try 'fluconazole' or 'terbinafine'. They are effective against Candida infection. Your gynaecologist can help you prescribing these drugs to you.

Thanks for your response, just some follow up questions with it:

Is there any specific product for candida did you recommend? Also, I have no itchiness whatsoever or burning or pain, just the redness and discharge. Is it possible to have candida without itchiness?

Dear janebrisson421,

Thanks for your query.

From your history it seems that you are having candida infection, even though you have tested negative for yeast. It’s good that you are negative for HIV and diabetes because people with low immunity are prone to such infection. In my clinical practice, I would try antifungal treatment, both orally and by local application in cases such as yours. Antifungal medicines may be needed for at least 3 months. You can discuss this approach with your local doctor.

You should also try to include curd and other probiotic foods in your diet. Expose your undergarments to direct sunlight while drying and avoid wearing undergarment at night.

Hope that this information helps and hope that you will get better soon.
