Why am I always in pain

Why am I always in pain

for years now..ive suffered with unbearable pelvic pain..its so frustrating to know something is wrong and not be able to pinpoint the problem..ive seen numerous doctors..i get pain in my reproductive area so severe im unable to walk or get out of bed sometimes. it comes and goes..its either sudden, sharp stabbing pain through my area that radiates to my anus, where i sit down and can actually pinpoint the spot the pain is coming from..or stays for a while then goes away again and is sometimes also associated with nausea and painful intercourse. im at the verge of giving up.

Hi!
I don't know what has been done for you already.  If you were my patient, I would do two things initially:  the first is laparoscopy to check for endometriosis, and treat if present.  the second thing is refer you to gastroenterology for a thorough evaluation.  So many patients with GI problems get on the wrong track with gynecologists who can't find the source because it is NOT gynecologic.
Don't give up!

Im afraid I have some type of cancer.. because as a teenager I was diagnosed with human papilloma virus.. and my pain has gotten worse over the years. I know it isnt my stomach because it's where my ovaries are. Ive been to numerous gynos who send me for testing and find nothing..i went to the ER once from the pain and the doctor told me my uterus wall was really thick..I dont even know to this day what that meant and what it had to do with my symptoms.

I also find it almost impossible to become pregnant. I have a 5 year old son, but since him I cannot get pregnant.
