ablation alternatives

are seasonique and yaz viable options to an ablation?

Hi!
The BEST alternative would be the Mirena IUD.  I have had some very good success with these.  Enough so that I prefer to try the IUD before going to ablation.  Seasonique works well if you stick with it (the same is true for the Mirena).  Yaz is a good method, but of course you would still have monthly cycles.
