after a d and c

hi i had a d and c on the 25th of janurary. i bledd fror 2 days stoped for 2 days and started bledding again. i then wen to the doctors and to the hopsital they put me on a 2 weeks course of antibiotics, that was on 23rd of feburary. i came on my heavy period and i finish that ovver 1 week ago. i have now got a very thick light brown discharge and it isnt chanmging what shall i do? shall i be worried?

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would be concerned about a yeast infection.  I would want to do an examination and a wet mount looking for candida as the cause of the brownish discharge.  If I do discover yeast, I prefer to treat with Diflucan, which is an oral preparation.

I would also consider doing an ultrasound in the near future if your periods continue to be heavier than normal for you.  I would want to be certain that everything was normal within the uterus.
