bacterial infection

I RECENTLY WENT TO THE DOCTOR FOR A PAP SMEAR AND WAS TOLD I HAD A BACTERIAL INFECTION, SO I WANNA KNOW IS IT NORMAL FOR PPL WITH BACTERIAL INFECTIONS TO HAVE BUMPS AT THE OPENING OF THE VIGINA (vagina), IF SO HOW LONG DO THEY USUALLY LAST.

Hi!
The "bumps" are probably not related to the BV.  I hope the doctor prescribed some antibiotics for you to take for your infection.  If it has cleared and the bumps are still there, they are definitely not related.  Bumps are usually either Molluscum Contagiosum or Human Papilloma Virus genital warts.  There are some good medications to treat these yourself (requires a prescription) or you could have them removed by your MD.
One other possibility is folliculitis--these are little pimples all over "down there".
I usually prescribe topical antibiotics for those.
Good luck!
