Hi!
It seems unlikely to me that your irregular periods are related to your TB.  Irregular periods are very common and are usually caused by an imbalance in hormones although we are not always able to detect which ones are causing the problem.  In many cases, when women don't ovulate normally, they will go long stretches of time without a menstrual period.  When this happens, the lining of the uterus tends to build up due to estrogenic stimulation without progesterone.  When the lining builds up, irregular or persistent bleeding can occur.  Sometimes it can be quite heavy.

If this process goes on for an extended duration of time endometrial hyperplasia or even cancer can develop.  Polyps are also common.   Often this process can be treated with progesterone followed by oral contraceptives.  There are other therapies as well, ddretdepending uon your wishes for pregancy
