burning and itching of vagina before menses..

i started getting it 5 months ago...da burning sensation, and itchiness starts 5 days before my menses, n 1 day before it starts to burn even more n that area feels hot..

than rite afta i get my menses, it slowly gows away on da 2nd day of my menses. afta that im totally normal until da next cycle come agn..i will definitely knw that im goin 2 have my period da moment i hav ethis itch... on top of that even my mouth will feel sore during da same time, it will burn n have small cuts in my mucus membrane...am i allergy 2 my own hormones??

its so confusing, im 23 yr old n nvr had sexual intercourse before...!!

no doctors so far knws what my prob is...they say im totally healthy n i agree with them.

but its so uncomfortable n i need 2 knw whether im allergy 2 my own hormones..

Hi!
Your problem is common, and I think it is related to the pH of the vagina during the cycle.
If you were my patient, I would test for, and probably treat for yeast.  I like to use Diflucan for the treatment.  If the testing didn't show significant yeast, I would also test for bacterial vaginosis, which is much less likely.

Omg I'm 20 and I'm having the same problem but it started around 8months ago for me and everytimei have intercourse with my husband it burns worst and the doctor tells me I'm fine. It's so annyoing I don't know what to do. But I started taking the birth control pill loestrin and I think it maybe an allergic reaction to that any advice??
