can laparoscopy cause my period come early?

hi,
had a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy in jan 2009, since then my period started coming on day 25 instead of day 27 like it always has before,i only got it on time once since surgery, has anyone experienced this too?j

Hi!
25 days is still within the range of normal for cycle length.  So, there isn't anything to be too concerned about.  I'm sure that any woman who is not trying to conceive would prefer that her periods be a far apart as possible, so unfortunately for you, they went the wrong way!  It is very likely that at some point they will change back, so unless they start coming really close together, I would just watch and see what happens.

yes i just had a laparoscopy to remove a cyst in one of my ovaries and they said that your period may come early or on time ... mine came exactly on time 2 days after the surgery but i remember the doc, saying that it can come early.... do u know if u can wear tampons?
