clomid

I finished clomid 100mg 12 days and still not ovulated yet. For the past five days I have been cramping and feeling tingles on both of my ovaries,also have hot flashes,at first I thought I was about to ovulate but no +opk and no temp rise yet. Can I have the side effects and not ovulate,should I be worried about the cramps?. Thank you.

Yes, it is possible to have side effects with the Clomid and yet not ovulate.  It is also possible that you DID ovulate and your OPKs did not register for some reason.  Another way to follow ovulation is with ultrasound.  Cramping is common, and not necessarily cause for alarm. Severe or persistent pain might signal ovarian cysts however and should definitely be reported to your doc.
