missed abortion

during my first sonography on 18dec my fetus heartbeat was feable doctor says 50-50 chance for normal baby.but unfortunately on 5jan sonography report sugest missed abortion of 6 to 7 week gestation.so i undergo D & g method of surgery for abortion on 8th january.how long i have to rest for now.when my first mp will happen? is there any method so that i know that my operation was sucessfuly done and my felopine tube etc are in proper condition?i have c-section in 2006 will i amable to deliver baby again.when i fit for concieving again.please guide me?

Hi!
I'm sorry you lost your baby!  We usually recommend a three month waiting time before trying again to conceive. That allows the lining of the uterus to heal.
Most women have a menstrual period within 4-6 weeks after the procedure.
There probably isn't a big need for testing following the procedure, as it is simple and should go well.  If you are concerned, a saline ultrasound or hysterosalpingogram, either one, would give you information about your uterus and tubes.
Many doctors would allow a woman who has had one c-section to deliver vaginally with the next birth.  If your hospital is not equipped for VBAC, it is better to go with a repeat C-section.
