Why is my cycle so heavy the first two days?

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would advise you that it can be normal to have heavier flow the first two to three days.  Depending upon how heavy the flow is, it may be normal for you.  IF you feel your bleeding is excessive the first few days, you might benefit from an ultrasound to be certain there are no abnormalities of the uterus such as fibroids or adnenomyosis.
